FAILURE TO ISSUE STATEMENT OF RESULTS [AS PER HWSETA GUIDELINES]

As per various Proofs of Communication with NOSA Head Office and NOSA Rustenburg Branch – we have been requesting Statements of Results (that were never issued and that do not reflect on the National Learner Record Database).

The request has been made for the Statement of Results of individuals who both attended training at NOSA Rustenburg Branch: one in 2014 and the other in 2009.

As per the HWSETA Certification Guidelines:
7.4 Statement of results
7.4.1 SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROVIDERS shall issue statement of results to competent and HWSETA endorsed learners;
7.4.2 Statement of results shall be issued when the following are complied with:
7.4.2.1 learners were uploaded onto the SMS before commencement of training;
7.4.2.2 training was conducted by the HWSETA registered Assessor/s;
7.4.2.3 100% assessments were conducted by the same Assessor/s;
7.4.2.4 50% moderations were conducted;
7.4.2.5 the HWSETA conducted verification and endorsement competent learner results;
7.4.2.6 assessor/s and moderator/s were linked to SDP; and
7.4.2.7 HWSETA has approved the printing of statement of results by the SDP.
7.4.3 The HWSETA statement of results shall bear the following:
10.3.3.1 HWSETA name and logo;
10.3.3.2 Learner name and ID number;
10.3.3.3 Unit standard ID, Title, NQF level and credits;
10.3.3.4 Date of issue; and
10.3.3.5 ETQA Executive Manager signature.

NOSA staff are unprofessional; fail to take responsibility; fail to respond to customers; fail to resolve queries. It is unacceptable that a training company of this size and with such a "name" and "reputation" associated with it - deliver such poor service.

NOSA -needs to be audited by ISO, the relevant SETA's as well as SAQA. I'm not sure who is responsible for conducting the audits - and it matters not - as long as it helps to get NOSA up to standard again. At the moment, their 5 stars has taken a dive down to the very bottom, and went from setting thew standard to barely meeting any of them.

It is scary, because if this is the service being given to people attending training at NOSA - this is the quality that the public can expect being provided to them by ex-NOSA students.
