How is one supposed to registe

I applied to change my degree from BSc Informatics to BSc Computing. I received an email while travelling abroad that my request was approved and that I can register. The email arrived on the last day for registrations while I am travelling abroad. I attempted to register for Semester 1 but now cannot as the last day was 24th January (same day I was told I could register). What is a person supposed to do?
