I'd like too lodge a complaint against the van schkaik book shop at uj. Today I went to the book shop to get a quotation I stood in the line for a good hour and once I got to the front desk for my quote I provided the lady with my student card she just looked at it and said no student cards only proof of registration. However in the past i would normally get my quote with my student card and I told her this she sarcastically asks who helped you for 5 years? How should I recall when there are different consultants at the desk each year. I have been long enough at uj and I know the procedure for a quote why would I stand in the long line without my documents? It does not make sense for me to put myself willingly through that unless I know from pass experiences I did not need the document. What is more upsetting is that the lady firstly never told me this in a concerned manner as she saw I wasted my time in the line and secondly she didn't even resolve the query properly and called the next student while I was speaking to her. I understand if the new procedure is proof of registration none negotiable but why make me sound like a saying it has never been done with student a card.
