HANDED OVER FOR COLLECTION TO CREDITWORX

On the 17/12/2013 I received message from Creditworx metioning that my name handed over to them by Durban University of Technology; I have to call 087 825 0400 ref number 1-73945-156. When I call consultant by the name Annah Mphala confirm that my name was handed over to them to collect R2400.00 for Durban University of Technology.
It was 1996 to 1997 I was studing at ML Sultan; ND Environmental Health; then 1998 to 1999 I was at Natal Technikon doing the same diploma. I graduated in 2000 the same diploma at Natal Technikon. My question if I was in debt with one of the Technikon how come I managed to get my results or diploma? I never received any letter from this Technikons informing me about the debt and the have all my address. Why they decided to hand over my name without communicating with me? How can I trust that Creditworx? Is over 13 years now I Ieft the last Technikon. PLEASE HELP ME WITH EXPLANATION.
