Books are "on order" but no specific date

I have been trying for 2 weeks to get a prescribed book that I need to do my assignments and the initial guy at Juta in Hatfield told me that the book was on order and the delivery will be done on the 30th, and I have phoned 4 different people today and they just say that this is not a specific date that I can actually trust, because orders are always delayed and I put in leave for the 31st so I can go and collect the book as I need it urgently and now I am told that they cant give me a date anymore. Some students work full time and dont sit at home the whole day being able to go to a bookstore at any time. I actually planned according to this date that I was given initially and now I cant get any confirmation of when the book will be there and the staff that you speak to when you phone are extremly rude, she said"listen here I told you that I cant tell you when the book will be here"This is terrible service!!!
