Matric exemption

Hello, I have completed my studies in June and now i am waiting for confirmation that I had completed my studies. Today I was surprised by an email from Unisa saying that I must apply for new matric exemption and that I must pay for it again. Why if I had already completed my studies? If I do indeed have to renew my matric exemption, how do I do that now (the procedures have changed since I applied).
