No response from Ombud

I have lodged a request with the ombudsman at unisa over a month ago, who also does not respond so it makes me wonder if the ombudsman is not competent, who at unisa is?? I fulfilled the transitional arrangement requirements but unisa expects me to do an unnecessary extra subject in order to finish my degree. The completion of LLB requires the successful completion of 40 modules, 35 being compulsory and 5 being elective. Now I must do the unnecessary SCL1501 in order to complete my degree and make the total 41 modules instead of 40. What is the rationale behind this and the purpose? It's a complete waste of time and money to do an extra subject and the ombudsman won't have the courtesy of getting back to emails sent to them! I was at first granted the exemption, and then the exemption was overturned, who knows why??! Unisa is tarnishing its own reputation with this kind of service or lack thereof.
