Construction & Repair

Jason Hollingdrake from Homeowner Projects came to our house to discuss the kitchen renovations we wanted and he sent us a quote (which we accepted) this was in Aug 2012. A few days later he called telling us that prices were going up and if we wanted the quote to remain unchanged we should pay the deposit and he will order material and we did so. He seemed very trustworthy and very well spoken. Due to his nature of seeming to being trustworthy we paid the outstanding balance from the quote in October which was the worst decision we could have ever made. In Dec after not hearing from him we started following up with him and his excuse was shortage of granite and he came to do some installations and some of the things he did were not what we agreed on and the renovations are incomplete and to this day he hasn't come back. In January we followed up with him again and we got more stories and more excuses. He finally agreed to refund us in February, it's now two months later still no refund and now he is not responding to our emails and calls. Think twice before dealing with Jason and he might now be trading under the name "Living projects - home and office renovations"... Be warned!
