On Monday 17 December 2012 I sent the following email to Dulux headquaters:
Dear Dulux
During the month of February 2011 we purchased paint from your Somerset West Dulux branch in order to paint all the outer walls of our house. We believed that being a Dulux paint, it would be good quality and there would be no need for paint for at least the next 5 or 6 years. Sadly, not even two years down the line our house looks worse than before we painted it. The rough texture of the paint attracts dirt and dust like a magnet and the walls are already badly stained from the winter rain. We are truly disappointed because the sales person recommended this paint and we spent nearly R6000-00 on paint and equipment and this is the result. I have attached a copy of our invoice and photos of the condition of the paint. Please advise. I look forward to hearing from you.
I have not had any response, not even acknowledgment of receiving this letter.
