Failure to complete work

We contracted Home Rescuers to;
1. Build a wall and palisade combination.
2. Install a gate motor and gate.
3. Install additional safety sensors for the gate. Paint the palisade fencing
We were assured work would be completed in 2 weeks, but 3 definately. They have had expierience in installing gate motors.

Project started fine, challenges were managed fine but by 50%-70% of work being complete, site management became non existant, gate motor was not installed properly and sensors not at all, palisades were not painted well, wall was not cleaned of excess cement. A dismal finish to a project. The lack of finishing the project was due to an injury of Garrick on the last day of the 3 weeks, when we tried to contact and make alternative arrangements, we were told they are closed and will only start Mid January. Balance of payment was with held and we had to use that to contract another company to complete the gate motor for us. They had to re-do the motor installation. Project was not completed, some gate components were taken, general lack of quality to finishing the job.
