LACK OF AFTER SALES SERVICE AND POOR QUALITY

We had our house painted by Pro-Tec Wall & Roof Coatings in November 2011 and the paintwork was guaranteed for 10 years. This cost us R60, 000.00. Only 1 year later, the paint is peeling and chipping in various places on the exterior walls. When you try and contact Pro-Tec, they are full of excuses as to why they have not answered your calls, returned your messages or e-mails. The onlyt time they did respond on e-mail was to say they hadnt responded because their e-mail was down!

The owner, Mr J L Steenekamp is always "busy" and never ever returns calls and his secretary has clearly been instructed to tell clients that he is in "meetings" when they call.

I would warn anyone against using this company as clealry they do not care at all about after sales service, the guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on, and the product and paintwork is of inferior quality.
