I found a sales rep for Tydan Security in Blue Route Centre, after 2 weeks I never received an call after being told by the sales rep that someone would answer me in 2 days. After a month someone phone me to come out to my house to take measurements of the security gate I wanted to have installed, this was about late Nov 13. I spoke to my landlord he graciously agreed to pay the depost. The gate would have cost R3900, the deposit was R1900, which he paid by cheque. I confirmed payment and that I would pay the balance on the 14th Dec. thats when things became nasty. Johnathan phoned me to tell me my landlord paid by cheque against company policy (indicated in the invoice) he said because of the "Nigerians" he was not able to go ahead with the job until the cheque clears. When will I pay the balance I said on the 14th, he then said if not paid by the 14th Dec at 0800 he will cancel the job. I paid on time. only to get a call that they cannot meet the target date as the cheque did not clear and now with holiday period i would have to wait until 16 Jan, to da
After 16 Jan I cancelled the job, been trying to get the R3900 out of them, since then today nothing
