Gift cards with "R200" yeah right

My name was drawn for a competition some time last year nov/dec to win a gift voucher for R200. i only decided to use it about 2 weeks ago cause i really needed tools and some other stuff for a job. i got to the cashier to pay and the say there was no money on the card. i spoke to a manager who took my name and number and to no surprise i have heard nothing.

why have a competition, give out a gift card with what is meant to be R200 on it when there is no cash on it

such a big company yet they fake a R200 gift voucher.
makes no sense and to add to all that you get promised they will follow up and don't...

as a typical male i spend alot of time and money in builders warehouse and i am now really disappointed.
