I spent R20 000 on a 300-litre installation in February 2010. Following problems related to the geyser not heating the water and SunTank failing to respond to the need for repair, I decided mid-2013 to take the knock and had the system decommissioned and it was removed in its entirety from my property. In its place, I installed a conventional Kwikot geyser. Today (22/01/14), I received a Letter of Demand from SunTank related to the installation, maintenance and / or repairs that reportedly were undertaken in 2010. Notwithstanding that I dispute that I owe Suntank any monies, I had all but begged Suntank in 2010 to attend to the faulty installation. To suggest that they had in fact attended to the repairs and that monies are now due is nothing but truly unbelievable. No words describe how poor the service has been that I received from this company.
