Tank Failure after 7 years

I have 200l indirect in roof suntank which has sort of worked for 7 years. In April 2013 I noticed that the sun was not warming the water after being away for a week. When I tried to top up the anti-freeze I noticed that it just poured out the bottom of the geyser.
I contacted Suntank and they quickly responded saying that I was out of warranty and that I had to buy a new suntank installation service.
I'm disappointed as i hoped for at least 10 years and for Suntank to value their manufacturing integrity.
