The gift that keeps on giving (NOT!)

We spent well over a million rand with HKW construction to do some alterations and extensions at our home several years ago. Ever since the building work was completed (well behind schedule) we have had a never ending nightmare of ongoing problems - leaking shower floor, leaking roof, damp walls, problematic electrical work, crumbling tile grouting, etc. etc. I would rate the engagement of HKW construction as absolutely the worst purchasing decision I have ever made in my life, and I sorely regret ever using this company - I paid the full going rate (and maybe then some) for quality building work, and instead (I am convinced) I received substandard materials and equipment installed by poorly supervised, inadequately skilled labourers. I have no illusions of recourse - however, I will periodically repost my complaint, as a warning to others.
