Trevor's Steelworks
Inferior Workmanship

On 14 November I commissioned Trevor the owner of Trevor's Steelworks to do some work for me. Originally he quoted me a price indicating it will take two day to do the job. Well it took him until 14 December to partially complete the job after which he told me to get someone else to complete the job. Fortunately I did not pay him all his money. His work is of sub standard and I now wonder if he is a qualified welder as this guy just have no inclination of how to go about setting out the construction of a gate. He also does not have all the required tools and sweet talks his way out of things. I however kept quiet but took good note of how he operates. He advertises by dropping pamphlets at shops seeking customers. He also has the tendency to change his price as the job progresses. After starting on my gate he messed up the material and I had to buy more. I find him inexperienced and am actually glad that he did not complete the job as he was a bit frustrating as well. If someone should ask my opinion then I would definitely not recommend him
