Huge Disappoinment - Big Waste of Money!

BEWARE of contractors who can supply ALL the services you require! That's the lesson I learnt the hard & expensive way! With Jacob van Heerden it all turned out to be a case of over-promise & under-deliver! He told me the work work should take a week... well it was more like a month. He told me he had people that could do all the necessary work... He had people. Qualified to do what they had to do - NO! His friend & the tiler he brought to my house, Stanford, has to rate as one of the absolute worst tilers in the world! I wish I could upload photos, because there aren't words to fully describe the mess he made of my en-suite & bathroom! A close second, was the people responsible for installing the laminate flooring... I bought the most expensive flooring & they didn't have a clue what to do with it! Once again, only photos would do this disaster justice! Less than a month after they 'finished', the tiles on the shower step started pulling loose. I contacted Jacob immediately, included photos & till today, nothing has been fixed. What I am getting is a lot of attitude, though! Completely self-righteous! A never-ending nightmare! This contractor is to be avoided!
