Poor quality dodgy Business

In Aug 2009, Revamp-it spray coated my tiled roof. Ray the salesman come out (did a good sales job) & I selected them as they provided a 10 yr guarantee - "against chipping, peeling and flaking" & "include one free-call on guarantee related query" price seemed reasonable @ R13K- what a joke! In Nov 2010 (1 yr later), noticed that the paint had started to flak off, contacted Revamp-it, Mrs "Salami", informed me that I must first deposit R750 call out fee, refundable if call-out proved guarantee related, this part not stated in their 10 yr Guarantee certificate? - (catch me once shame on you - catch me twice -Doubt it Salami) When they did the job, I thought the paint used had a very thin viscosity (warning signs!!), & that they did the 200m^2 job in 1 day another surprise (only applied 1* paper thin coat). Pity I only checked Hello Peter afterwards- see how many times Revamp-it appears here (over the 5 yrs) for the same Modus Operandi = School fees! Perhaps we'll see them soon on Carte-Blanche! Recently repainted same roof with Dulux Roof Guard - excellent product.
