Bad Service, Workmanship and Job not Completed

On realising we were being by one fly-by-night builder we appointed 'Mac & Moagi Construction & Projects' to finish our renovations. Thinking that 'NHBRC Registration, assured us a quality job we accepted Sean Mac Hattie's estimation of completion being between 1 to 1.5 weeks.
Week one went well, workers arriving early, leaving late and slogging all day appearing to be doing a sterling job finishing the roof (which we now have to get checked due to leaking), even if not actually 'supervised' -unless dropping them off then picking them up counts as supervision. (We'd been promised four or five supervisory visits a day).
Come week 2, plumbing commenced. Mac Hattie apparently also being a self-declared plumber, now progress slows to a crawl due to him rarely being on site. Main water supply never having being connected, with the plastering and tiling already almost completed nothing has been tested for leaks!
Ripping tiles off the bathroom wall, breaking floor tiles and calling his workers to bring spades to do even more damage, we paid in full. Getting registered plumbers in to check and quote we were told how bad the job really is and how costly to fix! BEWARE!!
