Naxan Construction Beware of "builders' Naxan Co

Dwayne Kunneke was contracted to do additions to our home. Our priority was to have a responsible person on site at all time which he agreed to. This happened for the first 2 months of the project which would take 3 to 4 months. It is now Sep and large part of the work has not been completed. He has since started a project in Hoedspruit. After numerous meetings, list of outstanding work he undertook to finish he has absconded with an amount which was earmarked cupboards and floors which he has not done. Flashings, screen walls not completed and plastered, painting not finished, paving left unrepaired, incorrect glass door fitted, very poor brick work left unrepaired, grouting utterly substandard. On 3 occasions I bought mats out of my pocket because his sub-contractors were laying sleeping on my lawn for weeks on end with no mats to work with. The paving is damaged by mortar. After a final meeting we negotiated a mutual resolve, he agreed to finish up on the smaller work. We agreed that if he did so we would pay the final invoices outstanding to contractors. It has been 2 months and nothing has been touched. Our calls are no not being answered and we have to take legal action. Steer clear of this guy
