POOR QUALITY OF MAG (CEILING) BOARDS

We were told we could use rinolite to plaster these ceiling boards which then separated from the boards throughout the house within a month of plastering. On removing the rinolite we discovered some of the boards were cracked. Supertec replaced two boards which we had to install ourselves. They offered to pay R6000.00 towards towards replastering of the ceilings, but this money has not yet been paid to us. Some of the ceilings were repaired by professionals, on their recommendation, and these are still cracking along the joints. We are now using Plascon Terraco which adheres beautifully to the boards but continues to crack along the joints. We find it difficult to believe that this is the fault of the coating product as we are now using a thrid different coating product, and still the cracks appear within days of application.
