Al Awnings
Not finishing the job

Al Awnings (Albert van Wyk) fitted an awning to my home in Harbour Island, Cape Town. It is a security Estate with very strict aesthetic rules. He was provided with a set of plans and a deposit. Work was completed, although there were problems with a leaking roof and the pillars fitted were narrower that was approved by the Home Owners. I pointed this out to Albert and following numerous promises and "stories" it is almost a year and he still hasn't pitched up.

I am now forced to use another Supplier at GREAT cost to fix up his work. Also need to place on record that Al Awnings WILL BE HELD LIABLE FOR ALL THIS ADDITIONAL COSTS.

When doing business with Albert van Wyk, here's the tip, ONLY PAY AFTER THE JOB HAS BEEN COMPLETED, AS HE CLEARLY CANT BE TRUSTED.
