Sale nightmare

There was a sale on a grip workbench marked down to R2500 and the sale was until 2:00pm at 1:50pm I asked for one and the lady guaranteed me that they would hold the price, after waiting 30min to get one from stores and another 10min in the queue, the lady at the till went to the manager and was told that the sale was no longer on and would not give me the sale price. This has to be the worst service I have ever received.
