Rude condescension

I was in BW with my list of shopping and started out at the BIC section on a hunt for top kitchen cupboards. There was no one manning the section and I walked around in the hope I'd find assistance when a tall, slim, good-looking dark-haired man that was just starting to bald (the description as I could not get a name) approached me in a very condescending manner reprimanding me for being in the 'stores' section. I said that there is no sign demarcating this section and there were even POS display signs and prices there on items and an isle header with "62" on it detailing the items one would find there. He retorted "Anyone can see that is not for public access" - What a rude man! When I called him out on it he said "I'm sorry you misunderstood" - I MISUNDERSTOOD?! When I showed my indignance he then responded that he was only concerned for my well-being! Whatever happened to customer service?!
