Bad customer service - lack of knowledge

I entered Builders Warehouse on 03/07/2013 just after 8h00 to buy shower doors. I was directed to the lady in the bathroom department. She advised me on a combo of R875.50. She checked the system and assured me that there are 9 sets in stock. We double checked the physical stock. Four sets were packed as sets and five sets were packed separately and numbered as 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 with matching serial numbers. I was invoiced & payed for 8. Fifteen minutes after payment the 8 sets were loaded on to my vehicle. Before I got into my vehicle Mr Peter Nnela arrived declaring the purchase is incorrect. His words were "its wrong". I asked him what was wrong and he only kept on saying its wrong. I explained to him why the packaging differs and he could not understand it and continued saying "It's wrong". After about 15 minutes of explaining he still did not understand. I asked for the manager and he replied that he is the manager. I saw my case lost and asked for a refund.

As a local contractor, I purchase my building material from Builders Warehouse and this person's general lack of knowledge and customer relations is unacceptable. You have lost a cash client
