Matrix Warehouse Computers
Hewlett PackardMFC printer sent for repairs twice

Computers & Services

We purchased an HP officejet 4500 on 22/06/2012 from a matrix store, in November 2012 it started giving problems, paper jams, tearing paper and making a terrible noise, I took the printer to the store where purchased, they said it is still under warranty and they will send it to head office, which they did. we got a loan printer for the first 2 weeks, the third week the store brought us a loan printer as ours was not fixed as yet, eventually it came back - without the print tray. it worked for about a week when the same problem occurred we thought it was the tray. eventually they brought 2 incorrect trays then the correct. this did not help. they once again sent the printer back for repairs. about 2 weeks ago it came back, was working fine until 3 days ago. it shows there is a paper jam. I have looked everywhere that the guided solution shows to no avail. there is no paper jam. this is highly frustrating. So we will now have to return this printer, loan another printer for who knows how long? is Matrix trying to delay so that the warranty can lapse? why not replace this defective product? The staff at the branch are always friendly and willing to assist their service is great
