13 months Old Apple 13K Computer motherboard fault

This week I took my daughter's Apple computer (ONLY 13 month old) to Gateway iFix and was issued a Job DN13026 Invoice #14736. After paying R225 I am told that they tried to replace the hard drive and the changing unit and the PC is still not working...
So here we go - I am told there must be a faulth with the mother board!!! Nice and easy trown & tossed13K in think air.
What is the Apple manufactures have to say on that kind of POOR product to use cost 1K per month! indeed.
And why as a customer I have to accept this type of poor explanation?! When asked where can I take the Apple for a second opinion I am told - 0 NADA!
I expect that Apple should take ownership and look into the computer and establish the real FAULT ISSUE.
Apart that I am still waiting for the full report of findings to be e-mailed to me.
Not prepapred to accept this easy bursh off under the carpet issue.
It seems to me that more and more lately the IT service industry is expecting a customer to buy into any NON-COMPETENT NONSENSE.
The word will be spread and it won't be a good one!
