Poor quality products and ignoring warranty!

In April I bought a media player from Springbok Information Systems in Plumstead. Since day one I have had nothing but problems with a poor quality Chinese device, which costed over R600! When it didn't work the first time, I took it back to the shop and they told me they would need to test it and may charge me just to have a look at it, after they refused to give my money back I took the device home and tried to make the best use out of it since I paid so much for it. However, a few days ago I realised the device wouldn't read any media files and soon wouldn't turn on at all. As it is still under warranty, I took it to the shop asking them to please replace it or fix the problem. All they did, though, was take quick look at it and told me a pin was broken inside and I should throw it away. A pin? They said the manufacturers will say it is a customer fault and there's nothing they can do. How can it be a customer fault if the device was faulty from the time of purchase? I can't believe the money I wasted on a poor quality product and that they refuse to pay attention to their terms and conditions. I'm making it my job to bad mouth this shop, as I'm not the first unhappy customer.
