Unethical secondhand products and poor service

I called the [URL Removed] Call centre, looking to buy a Samsung Note 32GB tablet. They directed me to their Sandton City Altech autopage shop, the call centre consultant assured e they had the specific device in stock. So i travelled to the shop. On arrival they couldn't help me as the device was not in stock. So the salesman spoke to his manager and offered to sell me a 16gb device instead of the 32GB device and gave me a 32GB SD card to compensate. And that's where the problem started, when i arrived home i put the sd card inn the device to discover that the sd card was used already as there were photos taken by another device saved on the sd card. A short while later my tablet informed me that there were errors on the SD card and it needed formatting. TheSD card malfunctioned. I am disappointed on how unethical it is that they gave me a low quality secondhand device.
