Acer, worth the money?

Hi, I recently purchased a (very expensive!) Acer Aspire 7530G laptop. I thought that because it was one of the best laptops (at the time) it would mean that I'd never have problems with it. Wrong. So wrong. Its been baffling me and other technicians around my area. The laptop just switches off while I'm in the middle of something. Even with the charger/adapter plugged in. Please help.
