Acer very unwilling to help

I bought an acer travelmate p453mg. It works fine but when I bought a solid state drive for it the laptop could not detect the drive. I tested the drive on another machine and it worked. When I called Acer for help some rude technical support guy says that the drive is not an acer drive so they cant help me. The drive works on another acer machine so there is something wrong with the laptop/bios but acer don't care. I have two acer machines but I will never ever buy another one.
