Adco Diesel City
Worst Diesel Engine Workmanship... EVER

Cars & Transport

I took my Isuzu KB300 DC to this company to repair the engine (rings, sleeves, bearings and gaskets). The vehicle used 2.5 l of oil in the 500km and built up severe sump pressue. They said this was normal, but after some argument agreed to re-do the engine. There was a bad engine vibration and the crankseal leaked within the first 500km. They tried to repair the seal twice again. They then claimed it was not their responsibility, so I had another repairer check who then found the crank seal repaired with putty (I have fotos and witness). George saw this and requested this repairer to fix the seal. The seal is leaking again, but George wants nothing to do with it now. The engine vibration is getting worse, which is probable cause of crank seal leak
During the repairs, they also lost the intercooler bracket and put in a piece of flat bar that does not work, broke the aircon pipe, left off bolts and other brackets. the interior was full of grease marks, the fenders were scratched.
During a previous repair (turbo), the foreman offered to fit a part to my vehicle from a dealer vehicle that was in for an claim assessment. This should have been my warning!
There is much more than this.
