Selling accident damaged vehicles

I purchased a vehicle from Jeandor in July 2012 however found the 4wd system to be non-functioning. After sending them a letter from a lawyer 2 months later, did they eventually start doing something. In December I decided to give the car back as they still could not repair the car. As my vehicle was already sold which I traded-in, I had no option but to look at another car. There was a similar vehicle that I showed interest in and took it, just to find out 2 days later that it was written off by the previous owners insurance company due to an accident..
This was not disclosed and no mention made of the extent of the damage on the sales contract.
They have at first refused to take back the car, but after providing evidence in form of photos and a write off letter, did they accept, They forced me into accepting back the car that was faulty for 6 months to which I refused.
Stay well clear as you dont really know what you are buying with your hard earned money..
