Around About Cars
Beware of using Around About Cars

During our online booking we specified that our car needed to be collected/dropped off in Pretoria, we also requested a 4WD. When we received a booking reference it indicated that the car needed to be collected and dropped off at OR Tambo since all Pretoria branches were closed during the weekends that we were leaving/returning. This is understandable but it did pose an inconvenience for us and we were disappointed that Around About Cars didn't make this information available during the online search as many other car rental companies do. When we arrived to collect our car, the company that Around About Cars had outsourced for our rental had not yet received confirmation of our payment. We were then forced to pay the full amount, once again, in the hopes that Around About Cars would reimburse the previous amount. To top it off, our car was not a 4WD - very inconvenient for our trip to Mozambique. When we called to confirm our reimbursement, the person we spoke to was extremely rude. This bad attitude continued a few days later when we requested some sort of compensation for their terrible service. I would strongly advise against this company's shoddy and rude service.
