Poor Service

My battery is still under guaranteee, but went flat. Took the car to local battery centre and asked them to check. They confirmed it was flat and need to be tested and charged. The battery was then taken out and new one was 'loaned' to me. I was told I needed to pay R650 for the 'loan unit'; which I reluctantly agreed. Whilst taking my details down I overheard the the 'owner' ask that a battery be loaned to a lady, but at no cost. When I asked the person I was dealing with, why i had to pay and the lady did not, she said it was due to the other lady being a big client (did not seem likely). the same lady later told me she did not know the old lady but maybe the boss does. I asked to speak to the owner but he left and then was paged, by the receptionist. I then told the person dealing with me that this is double standards. I paid the R650, but am not happy as the owner did come into the reception but said nothing to me. I feel this type of service is NOT acceptable as my battery is still under guarantee and why should I pay again for a new battery and secondly the owner should not have double standards when it comes to clients.
