Alfa refuse to purchase back one of their veichles

I have an Alfa 147 2.0l distinctive with 42 000 km that I want to sell back to Alfa, however none of the dealers we have spoken to, these include, Fourways, Hyde Park and East Rand, were prepared to buy the car back, the best that they would do was to offer R100 000.00 on a trade in on another car, this is R 24 000.00 below the trade-in book price!
What is the point of purchasing an Alfa when not even Alfa are prepared to purchase the car back, is this due to the fact that Alfa know that the cars are not good, and are not worth anything second hand?
