I have had the worst insurance experience possible.
my car like many others had been damaged in the hail storm around the jhb areas in sept/oct 2012, to which i had reported to the insurance company and a date of 29/01/2013 would be possible to take my car in. i had handed my car on the date mentioned above and was TOLD 5-14 days for it to be completed.

its now the 8th of march after endless calls to global hail, my insurance company and finally the panel beaters who also had kept me in the dark regarding my vehicle, i may be picking it up.

this leads me to a few questions :
1. I had paid my vehicle instalment for a month of which i didn't use
2. I had to pay my insurance premium for cover of which i didn't receive
3. I had to hire a vehicle at my own cost to cover for the days over and above the 5-14 which i was told
4. I still have an excess to pay???

all this money to the companies above has to be done in order to recieve my vehicle yet POOR SERVICE, NO CUSTOMER CARE seems to be the trend of the above companies!

Highly unsatisfied!!!
