Using the AA as a Scapegoat

My car was towed on the night of 23/2/2013 from Fredman Drive in Sandton to their Shop in Wynberg. That is a distance of less than 10km. However, when I went to collect the car, I was told that the bill was R3900.00 and according to Renew-It, they were applying AA rates. I have enquired from the AA and have been told that there is no way I would be charged that kind of amount even if the panel shop and the towing company applied AA rates and marked them up twice the going rate. Renew-It will not take my calls and I can never get past the reception. I believe they are running a racked with First Towing (Recovery). All I want is for them to refund the balance they greedily from me.
