WE purchased a BRAND NEW Ford Figo for our daughter's 18th birthday. The car revs when you switch it on and the revs go up when you change gears. We sent it back within a week and after running a diagnostic test on the software we were told it's a software problem and there is nothing they can do about it. We have phoned the sales person and he said he would get back to us but never did. We sent an e-mail to the manager of the branch - had no response. We then sent an e-mail to the Dealer Principal and still haven't had a response. We are now giving the car back and demanding a full refund but still the managers don't contact us.
I have never liked FORD and have always said it stands for 'First On Rubbish Dump' but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. With the advancement of today's technology etc... I thought things would be different. BIG MISTAKE! It's our daughters birthday on Friday and she is doing her driver's licence on Friday and we don't have a car - VERY DISAPPOINTING.
