Co-techs driving cars to their homes to test drive

Cars & Transport

I took my car in to be serviced and a check for a battery warning light at Renault Woodmead. They did the service and told me that they have to test drive the car to monitor the batter light. Claire Volmine called me to let me know of the problem and she asked me if they can take the car "home" to be monitored and bring the vehicle the next day to the Dealership. I am thinking "home" as in the Renault Dealership so i agreed and give her my permission. At around 5:30pm i get an sms from tracker stating my car is in a "High Risk Area". I login on my tracker account and it shows my car is in Temibsa. I call Renault the next morning and Claire picks up and i tell her that my car is in Tembisa and not at Renault Dealership. She then tells me that Renault co-tech Duke Makou took my car to Tembisa so that he can test drive it and monitor it. I asked her that i didn't give permission for my car to be taken To Tembisa. She then tells me she called me and asked me for permission. Apparently if you agree to leave car overnight for monitoring that actually means the co-tech will take your car to his house either in Tembisa, Alex ect... to be monitored. Renault said this is standard procedure
