NEW MOTOR AT 11000KMs???

Cars & Transport

We purchased a brand new Chevy Utility 1800Club fro fury sandton 2 months ago.
so far, here are the problems...
At less than 1000km's i found myself stuck on the side of the road with an overheating engine. after being asked if i could find a way to bring it in, i got told the water leak was only an overset aircon consensing too much... it wasnt so, turned out the water pump had seized.
now at 11000km, the crank pully is bent and the crank shaft stripped. GM south africa took 7 working day to decide to put in a "new" motor. this was almost two weeks ago.
my latest call to see if the engine change is complete revealed the alternator is also faulty and needs replacing.

im just REALLY curious as to what ive paid R170k for? ive bought better condition second hand vehicles for an 8th of that price that had less issues. think i need to go back to nissan, sure the bodywork falls apart in less km's, but at least would still be on the road!!!
