Peugeot cannot find the problem - please help!

Cars & Transport

My mom drives a Peugeot 308, -2007ym, which she bought from the Northcliff dealers mid2011. Sadly, it has given us lots of expensive trouble. She have spent over R20, 000 in replacing parts. The particular problem at the moment is that when she brakes, a warning saying "Low pressure too low - STOP" comes on. It has been doing this sporadically since she bought the vehicle, and she took it to Peugeot while it was under warrantee and they couldn't find a problem. Since then, they have suggested a number of repairs, such as replacing some Coil which came to about R5000, and hasn't helped an inch.

Now the service department says that the car will continue to give problems, and we should rather trade it in for a new vehicle with a warrantee etc. Great sales pitch, but given the inability to find faults, if we did trade it in, it would be for a reliable car, not another Peugeot. However, my mom really loves her car, and we'd prefer not to replace it, but to rather get to the route of the problem. If one of your other branches has come across this problem before and knows the solution please tell us how to fix it!
