I bought a 307 from Lion pride in Durban last year February. A couple of months after, the vehicle started giving many problems. During the first month, the engine warning light was on. They instructed me to take it to a Peugeot dealer here is JHB. All they did was reset the computer. they did not fix the problem. I have just paid over R 20 000.00 in repairs to fix the problem Peugeot was suppose to have fixed and now I am told that I need to replace a BSi unit which will cost me another R 10 000.00. Why does McCarthy sell such lemons to people? Why couldn't they tell me how much work was require on the vehicle. I cannot contact the branch as I have discovered they they have closed down.
