Cars & Transport

My car was booked in for repairs by Alexander Forbes Insurance on the 7th December 2012 at Alberante. On the 7th of January 2013, Nomsa informed me that they had overlooked the ordering of certain parts for the completion of the repairs when the car was assessed and therefore my car would no longer be ready by the 28th January as originally estimated as the parts would only reach them on the 6th of February 2013, after which the assembly of the parts wouldn't take longer than a week! On the 4th February, I was informed that my car was at the paint shop in masking bay. On the 7th February, I was told that it was in the production line to assembly bay. Only on the 12th February was I informed that my car was at the assembly bay! On the 15th February, I was told that my car would be ready on the 21st February, after which I called Nomsa and requested an explanation for the delay and she informed me that they were experiencing back logs due to hail damaged vehicles! Again on the 18th February I was informed that my cay was at assembly bay and today I'm informed that due to "unforeseen circumstance" my car will only be ready on the estimated date of 26th February! This is uneccaptable.
