Efuse to give refund on damaged moto

Purchased a motor from this business and as agreed by salesman to collect on a Saturday. On arrival i was told that the motor was sold but a "new" one will be ordered and available the next week. I collected the motor and it was fitted but when starting it, it made a loud noise. They charged R7500 for the motor also giving a guarantee on it. I called them letting them know about the problem and i was told to bring the van with the motor still in it because they will have a look at it. The van was towed to them, and after all the unnecessary expenses i decided i wanted a refund and not to have it looked at... as it was supposed to be a brand new motor. I spent several hours there as they refused to give the refund and after speaking to numerous people, the boss whom i asked to speak to still did not even once show his face. They then told me that i should take it to another mechanic in Retreat. Or i could either leave the motor there and they will sort it out or i could just go ahead and do what i have to do. The whole situation started to seem shady, i do not recommend anybody to do business with them and they have absolutely no customer service at all.
