I bought a Megane second hand and took out service plan at Renault, Centurion. Service plan was explained: I get 2 services before reaching 150 000km. I took vehicle in for service in 2012, no issues. I phoned on 31/12/12 to ask them I need vehicle to be checked and worked on if necessary before going on holiday. Still waiting for that call as their systems were down.

Since then, oil service light came on and I booked for service today, only to be told, sorry, you have to pay as you are over your required km for 135000 km service. Thanks for telling me now, this after I did phone to enquire. I gave the kms when I booked the service, and still nothing was said or explained.

I have tried few times to call service manager to discuss, left message and emailed, no joy. The vehicle still needs to be serviced. So, please service as per original agreement or return the remaining services' money ASAP so I can get vehicle serviced at reputable and trustworthy supplier.

I have been warned about the bad service at Renault on numerous occasions from other unhappy clients but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Seems like the warnings were warranted.
