Hi, I am highly dissatisfied with carrentals service as I hired a car with
them on Saturday the 22nd of December. As per their letter, I reported
to 1st car rental in Pretoria to pick up my rental, only to find that
NO CAR was booked. I had specifically hired a Nissan X-trail but was
not given such. After failing to get hold of their 24hr offices and waiting
for 2 hours in vain, I left with no car. I demand that the rental
amount be re-deposited into my credit card as i refuse to be charged
for a car i did not receive. I sent them an email informing them of this dissatisfaction.

They replied to my email and said they will investigate and get back to me within 28 days. This morning, they send me an email saying I cancelled the booking. They then apologise for an error on their part and then come back to say that there will be no refund as "I cancelled within 48hrs". I did not cancel, UK CAR RENTALS, did not do their job in securing me a rented car I requested. This is a clear breach of contract.

I have proof that there was no car available. Do they have proof that I cancelled??? We will meet in court!!
