I had a warranty insurance with Bidvest for 4yrs now of which I took it over the phone and I have been paying with No shortfall, I was told it covers 2nd hand cars for gearbox, engine and other mechanical problems and I took it.

4weeks ago lodged a claim as I had a breakdown, problem was I couldn't change gears, I called them and they advise me to take the car to any RMI dealership of which I did and my car was diagnosed and claim was submitted, 3weeks after i tried several times to do follow up I got a declined email. I was told they couldnt assist as my gearbox was worn and tear. So I asked them what was the meaning of that and they told me gearbox was old... So I'm surprised as to why they signed me up as I bought the car with them and they knew that the car was in what stage and I only drove lessthan 10000km and it was up to date with service.

So they just said to me everything was explain to me through telephonical when I joined then I requested the recording as I felt that they sold me false information. I requested the recording and its been 3days now without it and when I called them to follow up, they kept on promising that they will send it and while my car is been accumulating storage charges ???.
