My truck was towed in for a broken fan belt. I also requested that the vehicle be checked thoroughly as we suspected some damage to the drivetrain caused during the towing process by the insurance appointed towing company. I was told that no defects were found. This is absolutely not correct because when the arrived at MAN Kimberley the entire chassis was covered in oil. This oil was not present prior to the towing. No investigation was done as to where this oil was coming from. We departed Kimberley only to find that on arrival in Johannesburg more oil had leaked out from the differential where the prop shaft connects. I find that something this major was missed by your Mechanics as unacceptable and very unprofessional. Please note, we requested an inspection not a repair. It feels like we were just blown off to us out of the premises. I request your prompt feedback.
